GIS WebServer - the server Web-application intended for creation of geoportals, providing access through networks the Internet/intranet to electronic maps and information from databases. The application allows to display on maps and photos the data about the database objects having a territorial binding. Carries out viewing, sorting and a filtration of database tables; has functions of scaling, scrolling, change of the sizes of the map image, functions of editing, a choice and search of map objects by various criteria, measurements of distances by map and other service operations. At displaying an interactive map the technology of joint processing of the static and dynamic spatial data, based on the mechanism of work with tiles can be used. 

 GIS WebServer - the customized application. Having a corporate database, it is possible to customize work of the application according to its type and structure, to define the list of used maps and their link with tables, to define access rights of users to data. Parameters of customizing are described in a file of the project with .xml extension and can be edited. They include elements of the general description of the application, the description of database ables and sets of electronic maps, certificates of users. Customizings are carried out in GIS WebAdministrator program.  

GIS WebServer gives to the user the Web-interface for work with maps and tables of a DB in the form of the generated Web-pages. The view and structure of pages is defined by the description of the theme chosen at present time.
